About us

We have two SME family owned and operated businesses, working from two warehouse units in Ormiston, one is an online store selling to the public, the other an import and wholesale operation supplying businesses. We use technology to operate as efficiently as possible.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process orders from invoicing to fulfilment, including but not limited to scanning, packing and shipping
  • Manually entering sales orders for larger customers
  • Customer care including monitoring and responding to emails, making and receiving calls for both B2B customers and the general public for the retail business
  • Administration such as filing, completing paperwork and any ad-hoc documents
  • Managing barcodes - allocating new barcodes to products that don’t have one from the supplier. Updating barcodes within the system when they change.
  • Receiving stock and processing accordingly, ensuring all products are put away and stored correctly
  • Weigh, measure and enter details of new products into the Inventory Management System
  • Supervising and allocating tasks to warehouse staff
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and keeping stock well organised
  • Attending Expo’s (Occasional weekend work)
  • Request stationery, packaging, boxes etc to be ordered when stocks are running low
  • Point of contact for NZ post queries
  • Chasing customers for payments, general reminders to pay for orders

Qualifications and/or Experience Required

  • Comfortable with using multiple software systems
  • Keen to learn and grow with the business
  • Self-motivated problem solver and a team player
  • Able to spend 4.5 hours per day on feet
  • Certain amount of physical work involved including lifting boxes
  • Experience with Dear Inventory, Shopify Commerce desirable but training can be given
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Ability to prioritise workload & to work to and meet deadlines
  • Can use own initiative and take ownership of tasks
