Innova Systems Vision is to be New Zealand's leading small business provider of proactive monitoring and IT infrastructure services, helping clients to both reduce their IT costs and improve service levels, reliability and security of their IT infrastructure. Our office is in East Tamaki, on the fringe of Highbrook with rapid growth.

The Role:

The Service Desk Analyst / Technical Service Desk role is within a small but busy, highly productive and supportive team. You are responsible for technical support for our growing NZ client base including Level 1 through to 3 Service Desk / Technical Support.  This includes anything from server administration to user account creation and general workstation support but not limited to. There is opportunity for career progression within the team as the company grows, there will also be on-going training and certification opportunities.
You may either be a talented individual who has recently completed an Information Technology related degree or course, with top grades OR a  Level 1 Service Desk Analyst, supporting Microsoft technologies as mentioned below, with proven experience.

Must have skills\experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Methodical and analytical in troubleshooting
  • Fast learner

Desired skills\experience:

  • Previous Service desk experience
  • Experience to a NOC environment will be a bonus
  • Experience in supporting MS desktops\laptops – Windows 7, 8, 10
  • Experience in supporting MS Office365 including Outlook
  • Knowledge of mainstream cloud service providers and their offerings
  • Windows server experience – basic Active Directory Administration
    • Creating new accounts, mailboxes, distribution groups, security groups and basic server troubleshooting
  • Preferred Microsoft Technical Certification in Windows desktop OS/ Server 2012, 2016
