Solar Gard NZ is the New Zealand and Pacific Island distributor for Solar Gard window film. Solar Gard is a leading global brand of window film distributed to customers throughout NZ and the Pacific Islands. A growth market that continues to grow and develop with a comprehensive range of solution-based window film products for both domestic, commercial and automotive market sectors.

Reporting to the company owner, this role will have the passion, initiative and responsibility to deliver high quality service and build excellent relationships with our customers. A key role that is central to the ongoing effectives and development of the company.

This a busy and varied role, your proven experience in customer services, a slightly technical mind to pick up the comprehensive product range, understand our customer needs and provide outstanding solutions to them will be key to being successful in the role. As will being able to work autonomously, contribute to the development and success of the company.

About the Role: 

  • Providing a high standard of customer service while answering calls and emails.
  • Orderly and organized administration functions
  • Taking responsibility for each customer interaction to ensure continued customer satisfaction
  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face in a professional manner
  • Resolving customer queries, i.e. orders, queries, quotes discrepancies, ETA etc. in a timely manner that is solution based.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner that meets company and market expectations
  • Organise workflow to meet customer time frames.
  • Communicate and co-ordinate with other internal staff and company owner in a professional manner
  • Warehouse responsibilities associated with stock, inwards and outwards stock movements

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service role in a trade, building or service-related background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Initiative driven
  • Enjoy working in a small business environment
  • Enjoy a solution-based product environment
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge in Reckon or similar
